He didn't have many. Of course compared to how he was when he first arrived here, Heath's pond of friendship had grown into an ocean. But it still was not many. Pushing Annan away as he had was only a instinctual response. At times of great uncertainty Heath always seemed to retreat inward. This had been no different. But her words were encouraging, even lighthearted. Heath took that as honesty, and began to feel a bit better. He had never wished to judge her, not consciously at least, but his eyes grew a bit softer at the weightless words. He had not meant to push her so hard that it made her feel as if she could not return to the the stables. I was going to ask you though, Heath began with a softer tone. if you could be there. You know, as another set of capable hands. He needed her there, and it was the only way he knew how to tell her that.

She didn't want to sit, and Heath perked at the fact that she had something to show him. He kept close and quiet and listened as she pointed out the rough foundation of the house. It was a good location, for everything that she wished there to be. Freshwater, close to Rem. It was a bit of a ways from the rest of the pack, who many lived in the hotel, but she seemed to enjoy her privacy. When she questioned him, he spoke It's a good spot, I think. The male took a step away from her side, a hand lightly touching his chin as he thought for a moment. We always get a ocean breeze, so from the south I think. He guessed as his eyes looked around the landscape. We could clear these, the smaller trees here. The older ones would shade a porch over here nicely. He commented, a bit of a smile on his face and pointing roughly around the general area.
