The weight of the world was beginning to lift from atop her chest and shoulders. There was a clear path, and a plan that could be formulated. A riot had erupted in her mind, and she had been unable to calm the fighting emotions and thoughts. But now, she felt the raging ocean settle, the regular passing of thoughts drifting with a normal speed.
She watched him as he began to gather his response. He had help her so much thus far it seemed impossible that he have any more advice for her. But he surprised her once more and spoke so freely and openly that it all made instant sense and she nodded her head. She wanted it to work, and thought that maybe she had always wished it would and had been too confused to understand that until now. They could make it work, but first she needed to know what it was the Cambi felt. There was hope there, but with hope came a small bit of insecurity. The brown wolfess could have moved on already. And though that did not seem like the Marino woman at all, Mati still worried that she would move along and find a love and happiness, all without her.
He had hope for them too, and Mati smiled a little at his kind words. Such revelations were a bit stunning, and she even felt a little dizzy. Thank you, Vigilante.
