Anann can help him sew them together or she can loan Niro the stuff to take it home and finish it. Up to you! ^^

Anann smiled as she watched the young man work. She admired his determination and enthusiasm. His dreams of training birds was a big one, but she reckoned he had enough grit, she just hoped he had the patients for the task as well. He certainly knew how to work with his hands. Those not used tasked could easily let the blade slip, mis-cutting the leather. His lines were straight and true. Her sharp blade cutting cleanly through the leather. She could read the care and concentration clearly on his features as he focused on his task. Once he had cut the second pattern she addressed his question. "The the last piece like those, But you still need to cut the leather for both thumbs and the cuffs as well. Sewing it all together will take the longest."

"When we cut the hole for the thumb, We need to make sure that it just slightly above the mark you made wrist and slightly off center. You'll want the smooth side of the leather to be the outside of the gloves so we need to make sure that we make a left and a right glove and not two of the same." She took both pieces he had cut and folded them in half so they resembled the gloves they would eventually make. "The thumb will be cut next to the fold, but more towards the palm than the back of the hand. That why it wont pull when you bend your thumb inwards, see." It could be difficult for some to visualize the finished product, but she hoped she was explaining it clear enough for him. She traced the hole for the first thumb, leaving a triangular tab at the top of the hole. "That will help to prevent ripping out the seam between the thumb and first finger and its better to cut the hole a little small the first time, it can always be made slightly big if needed later." She explained. Watching as he marked the other and being sure it was opposite to hers.

Using some of the smaller scraps she had they cut out pieces for the thumbs as well. Making sure, just like everything else, that they were big enough. Finally the cut the cuffs and Anann folded up the remaining scraps of her leather and tucked them back in the bag. Sheathing her little blade when Niro was done with it. "Now we can start stitching this all together. I usually start with the main body of the glove. Then add the thumb and save the cuffs for last." She explained as she threaded a needle with the thin cord. Once that was done she stuck the needle into the spool until she was ready for it. Pulling out a little pouch full of straight pins, many were bent and bowed from use in the thick hides. "It will help to use these to make sure your seems stay straight. Just pin the leather together like so." She demonstrated pining the leather together so that it fingers would all lay straight and match up properly. "Its not necessary, but I find that it helps a lot. Have you ever done anything stitching or sewing?"
