nothing's going to bring us down (p - bindu)

Bindu's recovery had not been an easy one. Her mind was fragmented and it was hard for her to trust. But slowly, Geneva had begun to build a bond with the confused wolfdog. She had found that the injured girl was generally inquisitive, something that would aid in her recovery and her eventual departure from Phoenix Valley. Geneva was definitely fond of the hybrid girl, but she knew that she wouldn't stay here as part of the pack. The wolfess had a feeling that her life would carry her elsewhere before she found her permanent home.

She turned her scarred face to regard Bindu, her tail also wagging slightly, brushing at the soft mosses and other flora that littered the shoreline of the twin lakes. She was impressed that Bindu had ventured out this far, but pleased. She no longer had to lock the door where the wolfdog stayed. She had been so unstable, and Geneva had feared for her child, Pripyat. She did not think that Bindu would intentionally harm the boy, but due to the nature of her instability, she had taken every precaution, both for Bindu's sake and Pripyat's.

"How are you feeling today?" she asked Bindu, glad to have her company. Productivity always left her feeling accomplished, but there was also something very rewarding about having constructive downtime. Bindu was recovering well, so she hoped that she continued in that direction.
