ooc;; hope you dont mind me throwing Teddy in here... he's going to try and play nice! would you mind if we moved this forward to the 9th december?

His small training session had gone well yesterday he thought and he could feel his muscles aching from the actions of slashing and stabbing at the trees. He didnt have a sparring partner yet, so the trees had provided what he had lacked- a target to slash at, or build his muscles and maybe prove to Naniko that he wasn't what he seemed. She didn't see his warrior nature most of the time, because when he was around her he was usually his charming and flirty persona reserved for females. But when he was on his own, his personal determination took over and he was a single minded killing machine. He thought briefly back to the other day in Halifax, the bleeding body of the male that happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong attitude. Teddy didnt even know the mans name.

The afternoon of the day before had been spent scouting the tunnels, trying to figure out where would be the best place to dig out his den. He wanted to be close to the entrances of Anathema, ready at hand if there was ever a need to get out of the tunnels quickly. But winter had been thickening his coat and despite this fact he didnt much fancy suffering the chill from winds that raced around the entrance to their haven. He still hadnt chosen a place to live and the night before had been spent in the same lumpy cave floor as the night before that. He had woken in the very early hours that morning, grumbling and groaning about the small chunks of cave that he had slept on. But a brisk wander around the tunnels had sent him back to sleep again.

Once again the day was grey and foggy although what little sun there was seemed to be reflecting off the white snow and made the young man blink a few times before his vision adjusted. When they had become accustomed to the light, he just about picked out the white form of another wolf. It was hard to discern, but a little easier as the wolf was sat upright. For a brief moment he thought of Naniko before the scent caught up with him. It was not the pale lady but the stranger who had turned up just as Naniko had invited them to create Anathema. A stranger in most of the ways that the rest of his pack members were to him- he only knew a handful of names and faces. Usually Teddy was very aggressive towards other males but he had figured out a while ago that he would have to make at least some good connections in this pack, to save what happened last time. With the sour look on his face the black male padded down to the white, all four white paws sunk deep in the ground.

"Was that an owl you were just talking to?"

He mumbled, remembeirng the tawny and white bird that had taken off at the vocals of the white male in front of him. Teddy was never really one for a 'hi, how are you? my name is teddy'. He just wasnt that kind of guy. Blue eyes were tempted to check the guy out for any weapons are harmful substances but he restrained himself. Much as he wanted to square up to the white male and assert him, he needed to have good relationships in this pack. So he had to start somewhere, right?
