This is a nice scene, I love the sea...

She simply nodded, a brief gesture to show she was listening if she wasn't truly paying attention. Her mind was too wrapped up in the beauty of the scene that was set before it, watching until creeping memories of the past returned to her, skin crawling as invisible hands grasped her shoulders. Her crimson eyes snapped shut. It wasn't the same shore, but it was similar enough to bring back the unpleasant windows of the past, glass stained with gruesome depictions of the horrors of war.

She glanced up as he moved, eyes flitting over to watch him stand and stretch. I've gotta go. She simply nodded, boring holes into his skull with her eyes as he waited for her to speak. Talitha hesitated, mouth opening once only to shut. Finally, she nodded again, lips parting to let out simple words: "Goodbye, J'adore Austral." Her eyes turned back to the ocean, then to the skull on her lap, taking up her paintbrush to add trees to an island placed amidst the waves.
