Pfft. Isn't he always?

She'd committed some grievous offense in regards to her uncle's personal space, but she lacked the empathy to care about how he felt on the matter. Of course, that didn't stop the monstrous Holocaust from giving his opinion. She listened patiently, ears still as she took in his words. No expression passed her features, and oddly enough, her eyes stayed cold as well. Her mind fell blank, and thoughts turned dark until possibility of a silver lining dawned on her mind. The Lykoi woman shifted in place, tapping a finger against her thigh. They'd shot insults back and forth, and she had gone so far as to hit the older man, so her decision was most likely unwelcome.

Still, it didn't hurt to try.

"Teach me how to fight." The request wasn't phrased as a question, but it was backed by flickering hope and determination. If she wasn't worth Inferni, her abilities needed a boost. If he thought she was weak, she needed to correct it. Gabriel had tried once to teach her, but the young Lykoi had balked at the chance. Now, she needed the lesson. She wasn't a warrior, but she could be. Her capabilities petered off into artistic skills rather than those used to protect the land. Hybrid was different. She knew her uncle was nothing if not a monster. The best candidate for a teacher.
