It's too bad

Cercelee waited in silence as they waited for Colibri to arrive. Haku did not protest out loud that Cercelee had cut their private visit short so soon. Truthfully, Cer would be glad to have another here. Perhaps watching Colibri and Haku together, she could understand better what is was about Haku that was off. Navy eyes turned as the older female approached, and Cer saw Colibri face fall when she realized who else was waiting for her. Looking down for a moment, as if she had betrayed her co-rosea, Cercelee let any feelings of guilt pass. She really hadn’t known if Colibri would be upset or not with the boy’s presence, and besides, this was a family matter and Cercelee wasn’t certified to handle it.

Haku wished to see you Colibri. It was simple and to the point, and not a lie. Now she had little left to do but answer any question thrown her way and observe what went on between mother and son. A fly on the wall, it was really the best way to learn, granted that they did not dismiss her, well Colibri. Haku could ask her to leave and she wouldn’t have to comply, but she doubted either of them would ask her to go if she kept her mouth shut. Besides, she was here to support both of them, in a way. Haku would get what he wanted, but she was on Colibri’s “side”.
