It wasn't his body that attracted her to him, and that made his arm situation an easy fix for Naniko. There was one less piece of him for her to love, but that meant that she felt even stronger about the remaining parts. She didn't understand how he could think that he wasn't adequate in every way, especially physically...she was so sure of her feelings for him that such things confused her. How could he not love every bit of himself, arm or no arm, when she did? But she had never gone through the kinds of things that he had...she didn't know.
Things slowed and came to a final halt, his arm leaving her for only a moment before he returned to her side. She turned toward him, wrapping both arms around him tightly, nuzzling into his fur. "That was...amazing. You're amazing." If she'd had the energy to say anything else she would have, but now that the adrenaline rush was diminishing she found herself fighting off sleep.
