There was a brief look of surprise on the amber woman’s face as her mate slipped right out her grip and beneath the surface of the water, though it was quickly replace with one of amusement before he’d reemerged. Anann feigned a bit of a yelp as he pulled her into water. The sharp sound was quickly followed with that of soft laughter as she landed in his lap with a kiss on her nose, the water rocking them gently a moment before it once again calmed.
The Luna gave a deep sigh as she settled into the lap of her mate. The warmth of the water was so very relaxing as it soaked through her thick pelt that the golden woman had to stifle yet another yawn. ”This is delightful.” Her words hardly above a murmur as she rested her head against his shoulder as she watched her fingers tease the submerged fur of his chest.
For the moment Anann wanted nothing more than to simply enjoy the feeling of being in her mate’s arms; to forget the worry that had teased her mind in his absence. Eventually her hands began to roam. Golden fingers running through the fur of his pelt as she stole another kiss. The hand that had been at his chest was slowly drifting downward, tracing lightly over the lines of his abs.
