The velvet-coated lady had been rather lax with her interpretation of the word 'craftsman', which was probably why she hadn't been promoted yet. For a start, she wasn't sure that cooking or brewing beverages was really essential to the pack's well-being, although perhaps it could be argued it was good for morale. Apart from that, the kitchen stuff wasn't even her focus: she'd been making more pieces of jewellery and weaving than anything else, but those activities weren't even the limit of her restless hands and mind. Caprica seemed to be the very anathema of settling decisively into one role or one creative path; she was always trying new things and forgetting the old ones: her skills did seem to be improving overall, but she had not yet decided where to specialise - would she prefer to work for beauty or work for function? She could not choose.

Compared to her unpredictable and unstably careering career, his warrior path sounded very tempting indeed. No wonder it was quite a popular choice for those who were physically gifted. "Ahh, a soldier," she commented knowingly. "Isn't it a little dull for you here, though? Nobody ever attacks us - they wouldn't dare!" She was teasing him, and could never resist the chance for a little boasting on the pack's behalf anyway.
