Amy settled into her wagon, nursing the bottle of alcohol that she had. The thought that one of her slaves would kill her was just too laughable. She'd proven that fact, but Amy doubted he'd believe her. Now it was up to Hadley to do the rest. In fact, if she got really lucky, Sebastian might just purchase Hadley to 'free' him. That would be nice. Really nice. She took another long drink and pulled the blankets around her. She still needed a battle plan for dealing with the intruding merchants. It would have to be very clever, and very carefully done.
Nervously Hadley watched as Amy disappeared. It sounded like the same thing as when he'd been left with Omni, but this was a guy. If he was drunk, Hadley might have sex with him. Sober, there was no way. And he hadn't bee allowed to touch a bottle since he'd been captured. He really missed drinking. In fact, he missed a lot of his old life. There was just no way for him to come back. Hadley belonged to Amy now, and had to do as she wished. He jumped slightly as Sebastian addressed him, calling him over to sit with him. Carefully Hadley moved over, watching for any signs that he was doing something displeasing as he settled on the furs next to Sebastian, close enough that their fur almost brushed. That was how Amy liked him to sit with her. So possessive of him.
Hadley dropped his gaze to the ground at Sebastian's question. He didn't know quite how to answer it. Killing had never been part of the equation for him, though this wolf made it sound so simple. It wasn't for Hadley though. He valued life, and even as Amy hurt him he couldn't bring himself to strike against her. I don't want to hurt anyone. He looked up, meeting Sebastian's eyes, soulful brown eyes meeting his. May I... He didn't finish his sentence, afraid to ask for something to drink.
