Amy didn't mind the affectionate behavior. She liked how clear it was that he wanted her. What bothered her was the fact that she had been injured and had to work at not showing pain when he accidentally brushed one. His hands, so strong against her, warm, hit against the larger wound on her body. Amy stiffened, though no pain was shown on her face. She wouldn't be able to hide the injuries now, not when he'd so blatantly touched it. The anger and shame of that flashed in her eyes.
A growl rumbled against her, Amy's ears flattening. Why had this happened? She needed to be strong, yet had been forced to reveal how weak she truly was. Now Fang knew as well. He wasn't a member of this pack. He wasn't Shadowfang, nothing more than a slave, the one that had seen her at her weakest and picked her up. She was supposed to be strong. Twisting away Amy parted from Fang's grasp, her body held proudly. They're just from training. There's no need to panic.
