Niro drank with the help of Orin though he gave her a baleful glare, he knew she was doing what was for the best. The excuse was about her child but he knew she had other reasons and he wouldn’t argue, at least she let him keep the bowl in his own hand. Drinking filled his stomach in which probably did not have anything as wholesome as broth since the day Jiva, Palaydrian, and he hunted the deer. His stomach gurgled with happiness as he drank and she handed him the bread. Unfortunately with any effort he could not even lift the other hand. He did however switch the bowl to the hand so he could hold it low. The pup was resting and it felt nice, though it made him miss his own children. He took the bread, dipped it and took a very small bite out of it. It hurt to chew, so he made it slow and steady trying to ignore the pain. Then the question he knew was going to come came... and he didn’t think he could answer..

He lied not looking at his sister, instead finding where the other two played and watched them intently, thinking about the game that him and Orin played.
