The black fae was not a social creature, and, if she could, the female was quite content with watching the mechanisms of the pack from afar. She smelled those who had joined and occasionally saw them briefly from a distance before she slipped back into the backdrop. And such introverted habits had characterized her most particularly when she had first joined Dahlia. But, as the moons went by, the woad warrior saw that it was becoming increasingly difficult for her to remain in that pulchritudinous solitude, and increasingly important for her to integrate herself into the lives of her packmates. Yet, she often worried that she could not perform even the most basic social duties, and so she was often silent so that she may learn the ways of such activity. And she worried now that she was boring the male with her rambling words, but as she observed him with quiet eyes, he seemed to be listening to her, and the female’s mind was ease. Once more, she wondered why her social mind could not be as free as her martial mind.

The white orbs lifted to find the eyes that held the forest within them. Her movement was slow, careful, calculating. It was almost as if she could not recognize the implications of those simple two words. She could not deny that this mahogany male had caught her intrigue, but she did not feel that it was the same as that she had felt with Haku or the black male from the night before (and she hoped once more that his scent did not linger too strongly upon her). It was a slower feeling, a careful feeling, and the female did not know how to respond to him.

But he had made her silent, and she could not help but smile timidly as she turned her gaze to her paws, preoccupying herself with the woad upon them. It was apparent that she was struggling now with what to say, for she did feel that she must respond. And suddenly the female felt foolish for struggling with something that she did not find certain. The woad marked female lifted her gaze as she peered into the eyes of the male before her. "I hope the knowing of me has not been...disappointing," was all her alto melody could manage.
