........
........

Emwe moved some steps closer to the strange big brown thing, which was chewing something he didn't know what was, and it stared at him with dull eyes. For a split second Emwe expected it to respond to his question, because it opened its mouth! How exciting! But in fact, all it did was to lick its own nostril. The boy cocked his head over to the other side, fascinated at this action. Was it supposed to mean something? But it was nothing special! Anyone could do that! Opening his mouth widely, the boy made some strange noises as he attempted to lick his own nostril, as if to show the bull (though he didn't know that was what it was), that he was no less talented. The pink tongue which now rolled up towards his nose didn't quite make it, but it was very close! He tried for several moments more before giving up, and stared again at the big brown thing. Allright, so maybe you are better.

........The boy moved closer, and as he did the thing made a sound that he had never heard before. Moo? What did moo mean? He stopped moving again and sat down, now so fascinated by the creature that he very likely would have to tell every living soul he ever met about it, from now on and for the rest of his life! Oh! Perhaps Moo was its name! If it was its name then it explained why Emwe didn't understand the word, because more often than not names were not words - he'd figured that out all by himself, and it made him feel very smart. Hello, Moo! My name is Emwe, and I'm a wolf. What are you? Or perhaps it had cunningly replied to his question, and Moo was not its name, but its race? It was a Moo! Oh it was a little bit confusing, and he hoped it would rectify that now that he had introduced himself.
