I've kept you waiting even longer! XD 300+

Why did the butterfly have to sleep forever? It wasn't fair. They hadn't meant to hurt it and now it had to sleep and never wake up. The thought was a scary one and shook the poor girl to her core. Sleeping forever sounded awful. Not something she would wish on anyone, especially a poor innocent butterfly. There wasn't a mean bone in her body and she never wanted to hurt anyone. Emotionally or physically. She was far too softhearted for that. The large tears poured from her tightly shut eyes as she rubbed her face against her mother's fur. Cambria didn't know what she would do without her momma. As she shifted and picked the both of them up she clung to her as tightly as she could, needing that comfort and contact.

Pinned back ears heard the door close and she knew they were back inside the mansion and for that she was thankful. She didn't want to be outside anymore. When they were set down watery orbs looked around and saw they were in a room they had never been in before. Stubby tail tucked underneath her and she whined, not understanding what was going on. She didn't like this room. It was different and didn't hold the comfort of their den. That's what she really wanted. Was just to go back to the den and snuggle against momma and go to sleep. When their dark mother returned to them she looked up with those doleful eyes. Then she looked at the toy that had been placed in front of the two children. Cambria got to her feet and took a step closer to it. When Amata asked the question she looked back to mother. They needed to know it was okay to play with this butterfly.
