Yup yup, it all works for me! Big Grin. 516 words. sorry for long. XD

Tokyo had been feeling a fair bit constrained by the pack lands. She had been too chastened by the fact she was banned from Crimson Dreams, and it was silly, there was plenty of land outside Dahlian territory that deserved her attention. So she had struck out south. She had already traversed the shores that Dahlia owned numerous times. And while they were still lovely and now had the added bonus of an edge of familiarity, Tokyo wanted to explore, damnit. She was actually somewhat surprised with how quickly she reached the ocean again; they must be in some weird sort of peninsula thingy, or something. Usually the coast was in one direction, and a ton of try land in the other. But no, here was the ocean.

The shore was much rockier here than the Dahlian beaches; it reminded her fondly of the dangerous Lightning Bay where she had fearlessly played as a child. It was her childhood memories, in fact, which had her carefully eying the rocky barrier, searching for the tell-tale signs of caves. Tokyo had been quite adept at picking them out, and she would be incredibly surprised if that was a skill that had slipped out of her grasp. Nope, there! Halfway submerged, the gaping darkness promised secrets and adventure.

A quick appraisal of the lapping ocean convinced Tokyo that she should probably wait; the tide was dropping, and adventure or not, she didn't really want to get soaked if possible. It took quite a long time to brush her fur to satisfaction, and while she didn't really mind doing so, it did get a bit tedious when performed frequently.

She sat patiently, lulled by the soothing breezes and caws of the sea birds as they dipped, pulling out shimmering fishes from the blue blue sea. And then the water was down, and not only did she find the mouth of the cave exposed, but a path! Tokyo wasn't sure if this was a good thing or not. It might guarantee there was something worth seeing inside, but it did diminish somewhat her accomplishment in finding whatever it was, if others had done so before. It was less of a private beauty. Well, whatever, she wasn't actually going to let it dissuade her from entering, especially not after she had given up some of her time waiting. Easily clambering up the path (and only getting a small splash of sea water on her green woolen dress), Tokyo stepped inside.

Oh wow, if she had thought the water outside was rather blue blue, this... Was certainly distracting enough that she didn't actually notice the other quiet figure admiring the same thing. Her golden curls danced lightly in the sea breeze that she wasn't quite far enough in to escape. Her green woolen dress clung tightly to her, slightly damp from the moisture in the air - it had always been too small. Her ice blue eyes glittered in amazement, reflecting the royal blue of the cavern in a swirl of aqua. Yeah, she cut a pretty striking figure. Her arrogance was annoying, not unfounded.
