nothing's right, I'm torn

She was so glad that her brother had found her and not someone else. No one else could have given her what she needed right now. Not even Kansas. No, she couldn't even think about seeing him again right now. The very thought that she didn't want to see him broke her heart. Faintly she recognized that the fact that she still, at some point when she was ready, wanted to be with him meant that they would be able to work things out. But that thought was in the very back of her mind, buried under everything else that was making her feel this way. She had recognized how much he had hated having kept that fact from her, that he wanted to take it all back, that he had been so sorry about it. But it had been too much. Everything that had happened coupled with her own insecurities and fears had driven her away. Away from her home, away from everyone. She needed to be stronger, but she wasn't sure if she could be.

Thankfully her brother was there, holding onto her and giving her the strength she needed to step back from the brink that she had nearly toppled over. Savina clung to his words like to clung to his physical being. Yes. Yes that was what she needed to hear. Deep down she knew it was true, but her fearful thoughts had made her forget it. The woman continued to breath shakily, trying to calm herself even more. It was difficult though, and she could feel her body begin to shiver despite her brother's warmth. "N-non non non era mai f-felice per noi...realmente...c-come dovrebbe essere stata..." she said softly. It was true, the lack of friendly affection at the news of her relationship still haunted her. It had hurt her, and hurt her deeply. A wound that was only fueled by the recent events.

"P-perché? Perché l'ha fatto Ehno?" Whether she meant what had happened in the past or in the present wasn't clear. Maybe she meant both.
