Holy mano, so sorry for the delay <3

Dark body close to the ground, bright blue eyes fixed on the corner where their monster friend sat, Gotham concentrated as his uncle counted down from three. Encouraged by Ehno's growl, the boy let out a roar as he leaped towards the suspected monster, his tail high in the air and his head held high to make himself look bigger. As the thing squeaked and scuttled away, the pup watched with wide eyes, trying to track the movement of the dark thing in the dim, dusty room. There was, perhaps, a little twinge of guilt in the boy's heart; what if it was one of the nice monsters, surprised by their sudden aggression? It had let out a frightful squeak as it escaped them, and Gotham didn't think a monster would just let them get away with what they had done! Perhaps it was just tricking him, though, pretending to be nice and innocent so it could get them back later. The two had to be even more careful, then.

When Ehno exclaimed their victory, his nephew grinned widely back at him, his tail swaying. That bit of nervousness remained, but his uncle's confidence waxed it all over. He was right - they couldn't let the monster get away! Furrowing his brow and scrutinizing the dark corner he had thought the monster had disappeared into, he replied in a rather concerned voice,
"Non lo so, forse laggiù?" He peered some more, also wondering what the little creature could be. Was it a mean, tricky monster, or was it just some frightened little monster that would do no harm at all?
