Before the start our love drifted apart

Peanut brain? He had no peanut brain! The young boy hesitated now, not entirely sure what a peanut brain meant anyway. Was he smart? Round cheeks blew up with air, making the youngster look ridiculous. ”Oh yeahs? You haves nothing brain in head!” he announced loudly, determined to get her back for calling him stuff he did not understand. It was enough to hear her tone and see the look in her face. She had meant to insult him and Haku thought himself quite good at insulting people. He exhaled loudly, trying to sound scary without succeeding. She meant nothing to him anyway and now she was yelling about homes. The young Soul boy had never said it was his, but now he wanted to. Or at least come up with something that would make him look better than the sour, stupid girl. All girls were stupid in one way or another. ”Where I live my mommy is leader and you are all alone without a good and important leader mommy!” the young child bellowed, fur bristling with arrogance and superiority.

What happened next was incredibly sad. As the stupid girl’s stupid gaze travelled down to the forest floor Haku found his own gaze following; determined to look at whatever she was looking at in case it was something cool. Haku’s fluffy little tail hid between his hind legs now as the girl poked it with a paw. When Lillith stepped on the bug – creating a crunching noise – the boy fell down on his big bum and started crying loudly. She had killed the tickle beetleeeeeeee!!! Tears flooded his eyes and the girl’s words drowned as the poor little male puppy started wailing ”Moooom-m-mmmmyyyyyyyy!”. She needed to get him and find him a new beetle. She needed to find him and step on the mean, mean, MEAN MEAN MEAN girl that had just killed his new favourite toy.
