The reply Heath gave regarding Rue eased the Dauphine's worries for the runt horse. The lautari felt her overactive imagination beginning to spiral downward into the negative beginnings of depression and quickly stopped herself, refocusing her thoughts toward Heath who had just grabbed her hand.
His invitation was met with a warm, affectionate smile as she slowly rose from the table not wanting to jostle the food in her stomach. She would gladly spend the entire night with Heath in front of the fire, one of the most comfortable places in the entire house. Her lithe form strolled slowly beside her mate to the couch where she slowly took a seat, careful to maneuver her plumed tail out of the way so as not to sit on it. She had a horrid habit of doing that when she was distracted. Almost instantly, the Lautari felt her eye lids growing heavy and she leaned against the marshal as he sat beside her. Long, silver hair draped across the both of their shoulders as Ruri rested her head on Heaths. It would not take long for sleep to claim the blind woman, not tonight with everything just as it should be.
