Heath made his way over towards his mate, a smile on his face. It was like the weeks past had never happened, like Jac had never existed. Of course Heath would not pretend that he never had, but for the moment he was happy to let it float by. Their past worries were washed away by the oceans salt water, both their forms cleaned, hers free of the depression and his free of the hate and anger that he so easily felt.
The water sprayed around them both as he neared her, treading water while his arm reached out to wrap around her. Her voice was high, filled with the gasps for breath and a smile wrapped across her face. The male laughed, lightly and filled with his own panting. It was true, the effort was not much to travel from one end of the inlet to the other but still he was loosing his wind.
Oh come on, He spoke, voice loud to be heard over the noises of the beach. its not that bad teasing light heartedly. Ruri moved away, squirming in hopes of avoiding his grasp. His long arm moved through the water, creating waves that mimicked those of the beach and aimed right at the merle and silver collie.
