The large horse moved with a surprising grace to any onlookers, might they be feathered of small mammal creatures. Other then that the two headed home in relative silence, alone in their own small world.

Of course Heath had not wished that her heart had been broken by the only father that she had ever known, but without him none of Heath’s happiness would have ever been possible. As happy as Heath was to know that the collie-king was gone for good part of him needed to thank him for bringing Ruri to this place and into his life.
