He became increasingly more friendly and approachable. Although this time now she was certain that he was also becoming increasingly more and more uncomfortable. She frowned slightly but took his silence as a cue that he did not want to talk. She supposed that being hurt would probably have that effect on someone. She was silently grateful that she had never been hurt like that. In fact, she could not even recall ever being hurt in her entire life. Her heart sank into her stomach as she wondered if something like this could happen to one of her siblings - she loved them more than anyone.

She entered the cave, standing just in the mouth of it, green eyes looking around and drinking everything in. She had never really been in a cave before and it was kind of fascinating. Alex said that he had been living here for a while. "I ain't never been in a cave," the girl said, looking around wide-eyed. Caprica had spent most of her young life within man made structures. Her mother had birthed she and her siblings within the cabin they had lived in up until a few weeks ago. Now she was staying with her aunt, wanting to be as close to her remaining family as possible.

She meandered into the cave, still taking a bit of time to look around. Then she shook her head and hurried to the wall that Alex had indicated. "Where did you say they were?" There wasn't much light coming into the cave, due to the rain. And Caprica could not smell the sharp scent of herbs in the damp air. "How did you say you got hurt again?" she intoned, turning with her eyes narrowed. Something here was funny.
