WC:300+ It had been a long time since Jazper had simply slept all day, lazing about in his bed of dark pelts. His precious mate in his arms fast asleep giving the large male a feeling of security. After all, regardless of his size he too had his insecurities at times. Although they weren't about being physically hurt, he would give his life in a heart beat for any member of his family and that was the insecurity. How in gods name was he suppose to keep track of his son and daughter, his nieces and nephews, Savina? Kansas? God knew that male would need some help if he ever got in danger. At least with Ghita in his arms she was tangible, right where he could protect her. His security was shattered as a small whimpering voice caught his attention. Large ebony ears shifted forward as his amber eyes shot open. Silvano. As gently as the giant could he shifted away from Ghita's sleeping body and off of the bed, quickly placing the pelts back in his place. As soon as he was free from the bedding he hurried off in the direction of his nephew's call. What could that boy want? The call had sounded like a whispered cry even, what could be wrong when he was inside the house? Starting down the stairs he say the little mixed coat hopping down the hall ahead of him. Following curiously he still wondered what, if anything, was the matter. By the time the large man got to the hallway he spotted his little nephew staring at a wall as he let out another whimper. The giants heart sank slightly as he watched the sight. He wanted to make the whining stop. Suddenly it occurred to him, duh, he could! Quietly he rushed forward and lifted the little guy up high over his head before bringing him into a hug into his chest. “At your service captain.” He chuckled with a wink. |
