By the sea. Open for everyone and anyone
The rain came hard and heavy in thick sheets that blanketed Ever's pelt. She gave up attempting to shake off the water when it coated her pelt faster than she could protest. This weather, once again, filled her with angst. But it wouldn't stop her from settling the argument she was having with her empty stomach. The rain had washed away the useful scents of prey. Ever cursed when she once again lost a scent trail into a puddle. She thrust her muzzle up in anger and howled a howl that would likely have shattered the moon. She grunted, her breath quivering like mist in the air.
Once again she set off, her paws smashing the undergrowth. Ever noisily wandered the forest a bit longer before retiring to the shore under a palm with a small rodent. The sand was wet but Ever scooped a couple paw full’s away, revealing the hot dry surface she longed for. As she settled in, the rain poured down over the canopy of leaves that shielded her defectively.
