A Whale of a Tale
#11
Aislinn's ears flicked as she heard another wolf appear from behind her and she turned just in time to catch her name, Reverent. She seemed just as concerned as the rest of the pack to get the large stranded mammal back to it's home. Aislinn smiled at the thought of such a compassionate pack of wolves and she felt a surge of pride as she realised that she was a part of it. Turning back to face the whale, she padded forwards and pushed her nose onto the smooth, cold skin of the whale to sample it's salty scent. The skin felt dry and this struck Aislinn as strange, surely a creature of the sea should have wet skin? She realised this and turned with some urgency to face the other wolves, "Sorry to interrupt, but I think we need to try and keep it wet."
