The pup listened to Niro as he scanned the skies, trying to understand the concept. Good wolves defend. Bad wolves hurt. His nose wrinkled; he was too young to understand morality, but he would remember that information as he aged and it would help shape his ideals of the people around him. The lands Niro was from weren't explained anymore, other than being classified as 'a long ways away'. Kambujiya accepted it, not interested in them so much as the bad wolves who had hurt Niro's sister and parents. His ears tucked back against the top of his head while his eyes came back down to study the gray male as he spoke.

He apologized for what happened to Kambujiya's own family, though the pup wasn't sure why. The mention of being safe there relieved him of his anxiety, and the knight piqued his interest. "Whassa knight, Niro?" He was quieter than he had been previously, the sadness that had enveloped the area wearing on his emotions. With cautious steps, glancing to land around them, he moved closer to Niro. The absence of the bird of prey made him uneasy; Marahute gave a sense of protection despite being so small.

Niro smiled just a bit at the pup, who smiled back and glanced around again. She got hungry, I think. She was hunting; did he want to hunt? Kambujiya hesitated before answering, unsure. No, he hadn't hunted before, but he knew his mother had. "I not go hunting. Momma does. She said we getsa go sometime, when we got bigger." In truth, he was curious of the process. He knew she had to go hunting a lot, and she came back with blood on her fur and an unmoving carcass of some animal. There was a lot of blood; it made Kambujiya wonder where it came from.
