I hope this is alright, I'm still not quite exactly sure on what I'm supposed to do. I'd appreciate a message if I need to change things.

Time Goes Faster

A rustle of wind jostled the thick fur of the small grey wolf laying due south of the wind. Amber eyes began to jolt from side to side as her nose took in the scent markings of a pack's territory line of claim. Tala knew that pressing anymore onward would end in a negative aspect for both her and the pack she had found herself upon. Her pads shifted in the dirt as she let a large breathe fill her lungs. The ash like she wolf let her head spring back as a long, curious howl emerged from her chest. She wanted someone, anyone from this place to know she was here. The noise she made was one to let all know she was here. It was not invasive, or aggressive, it was actually quite passive. All she could do now was wait until, or if, anyone came to investigate her and her motives for coming upon the border. The wolf sat wit her round ears perked for any sound, though they did not rest high on her head, they lay at the mid point between her head and straight forward , her tail, or what was left of it lay level with her hind legs.

Tala for the first time began to pay attention to her surroundings, she could smell a squirrel staring down at her from a tower, it's little heart pounding hard in it's chest. She couldn't help but let out a small chuckle from her chest. That little rodent had nothing to worry about, even if she was starving, climbing that tower seemed to futile for such a small meal. She hugged softly and the small creature took off with great speed. Tala laughed as her tail began to wag briefly from side to side. Tala was good at playing the waiting game, and silence had grown fond of her. The wounds of the forest and the plain had become well known to her. Though it was nearly a year since she lost her mother Tala was still unfond of loneliness. Hopefully this place was the answer to that problem. Though she could easily be chased away with jaws at her heels Tala was hoping for the best. The wolf had a crooked smile set upon her muzzle, glancing around for that nervous squirrel once again. She had to entertain herself somehow while she waited, didn't she?

Who knew exactly how long it would take for anyone to reply, or even care that she was out here? That number was often quite different depending on the pack or the situation within the territory. Tala sat on her rump, her claws digging into the dirt beneath her quite easily as she let out a long breathe. It was all just a waiting game.
