Big Grin

It was truly a relief to the gray scale lady to see Bindu coming out of her shell. When she had first found the hybrid wolfdog, she had been frightened that she was beyond fixing. But it was clear to her that all she needed was a bit of time and someone to care about her in order to heal. Time could do wonders, but Geneva was glad that Bindu was convalescing here anyway. She did not have it in her heart to leave a creature suffering so much out in the wilderness. She reflected on the day that she had come across Bindu. If she had resisted her offer for help, what would she have done? She cared very deeply for the girl now, and was almost certain she would have followed her and tried to convince her otherwise anyway.

Geneva rose fluidly, stretching her shoulders as she did so. She smiled at the wolfdog and turned to face the forest. She could not scent the creatures, and so her approach to hunting was different. Lime green eyes scanned the forest for tell tale shadows and traces of movement. She saw something out of the corner of her eye and shifted forward, stalking gracefully toward the forest. She looked over her shoulder at Bindu, gesturing that she should follow.

The gray lady did not hunt often with another. Usually, she would hunt alone and only catch small game. She did not hunt often; Jefferson provided plenty for their family. But she did find that she enjoyed to do so from time to time. The Whilom entered the forest as quietly as possible, predatory instinct coming to the fore and her senses on high alert.

The pair did not have long to wait. Geneva heard a rustling just off to the left. She moved deeper into the forest, conscious of the wolfdog hunting with her. Pausing for an instant to make sure that Bindu was behind or beside her, the wolfess let instinct take over and began the hunt.
