Attila knew himself to be quite the opposite of Theodore's words—he much didn't care for companionship, though the white male had indeed adapted a soft spot for the owl he called his friend. Attila hardly lived his life needing much more than Markku—the Aston boy seduced, frisked and left his women as quickly as possible, before he could even be asked for a name—and this black male quickly became yet another Attila didn't need to know. He had trained himself to pick up disinterest within minutes of conversation—it made picking up women much easier and quicker—but he did not even need that to notice Theodore's skepticism. Attila had never much cared for the concept of spirit animals either, but Markku had shifted from bear to owl before his very eyes. The Aston boy knew no other typical animal to be capable of such a thing, but he wasn't about to prove himself to some jackass spouting some bullshit about companionship when it was obvious the black male wanted none of it from Attila.

His nose twitched, his eyes thinned. Something about a place far away, Theodore said. Under normal circumstances, perhaps Attila might've questioned him further on it, but the Ose suddenly couldn't care less. He introduced himself as 'Teddy'—a much 'cuddlier' name than Attila could really adapt to for someone he was so highly unimpressed with already. He brought up the white boy's mother—another something Attila might have asked about—and the boy simply twitched an ear.

"Yeah," he responded, eyeing him as he sat down. At that moment, the Aston male turned and bit at his own ass, then stood up and started away, his head irritably sunk into his shoulders. "Well, seeya."
