Saluce appeared to address his last remark first and Saul smiled softly at the words. They sounded strange to him for a moment but he was easily placated by the fact that he knew Saluce was smarter than him. So instead of questioning the words, Saul stored them away for later analysis, when he might need them in a time of crisis. Though he was still only a Lehrling he was beginning to think that he wasnt going to remain so forever. Soon he would be considered an adult and he would have to take on more responsibilities in the pack. Without Saluce there to see him become a man, Saul felt a dim on his happy mood. Though his teacher was leaving, he had given the young man something to do in his absence and thereby ensured his pupils good mood. Saul was relatively easy to placate in this way. However, thoughts such as these were hard to shake off, especially considering the hunt a few days ago.

They began to walk and as they walked, Saluce talked. Though most of what the grey male said was not relevant to the male right this second, Saul roughly understood what the man was trying to tell him. Though he had never really looked at a women in terms of 'mate' he understood what the male was saying. Saul was not the type to play around with emotions and he was even less likely to be promiscuous in his age but that didnt mean he couldnt experiment a little. Go on a walk about around Nova Scotia and have some life experiances. It occured to him then that he should ask Saluce to help him build his house when he returned but the man was speaking again and so he remained silent.

"I understand what you're saying Saluce... but I won't have to use this knowledge for at least another five months!"

He said with a joking lilt to his voice. The mans words had been serious and Saul seriously thought about them. They just weren't all that relevent at the moment. He was pleased his teacher had wanted to make sure his pupil was well prepared for life. Hopefully the grey man would be back before Saul developed any kind of feelings towards another. Hopefully his teacher would be back to guide him where he needed it. A smile crossed his lips as he thought of the adventures Saluce would get up to on his absence.

"Saluce, when you return will you help me build a house?"

He came out with, a smile on his lips. It was a random question, but one his teacher was sure to agree to. Saluce was a manly man and building a house was certainly something manly men did, right?
