Despite the sadness that weighed down the blacksmiths shoulders Saul thought he saw the flicker of a smile cross his face. It appeared the journey away from Dahlia would do the man some good at least. Saul allowed a smile of his own to reach a small amount of height on his face. However, he knew that it was time to say goodbye. It felt as though Saluce was going to walk away and never come back. He didnt have anything holding him here, he had just ended it with his mate and he was sure that Dahlia could find another blacksmith. But Saul knew in his heart that Saluce was no abandoning him and Dahlia. He knew that the grey man was going to come back and everything was going to be okay. Or at least, he hoped it was going to be okay. They were going to build Saul's house... cabin. And Saul was going to learn how to make bows, which could definitely benefit Dahlia in some way. Cinnamon ears perked as the man spoke.

Saul didnt quite understand what the man meant about the warriors path. Saul was never going to fight, or at least right now he thought that he wouldnt fight. He had been a pacifist when he was younger but the ignorance had been lifted long ago and Saul knew that he couldnt live like that forever. He could try not to fight but he knew that in the end he would to protect his family and his home. He was passionate about this, about his family, extended family and pack. They would need all the help they could get if they were ever attacked again. The pack felt at peace but that could easily change. However, the young man looked up at the grey man an nodded- he didnt need to comment.

Their meeting was coming to a close, the moment Saluce was going to say goodbye. Now that he really was leaving Saul felt he could accept it more. He knew he was coming back and that was fine. Painting the curved smile on his lips he listened to his teachers last words before he embarked on his walk about. He told him to look after Dahlia. A chuckle escaped the young man as he watched the grey male turn away from his home. It would still be here when he got back, so that was fine. He knew he was likely to spend almost all of it studying and practising but he would let Saluce believe otherwise.

"I'll see you when you get back Saluce. Goodbye."

He called after the retreating figure. Saul stood there until Saluce disappeared and then turned away himself. With a bound he made his way back into Dahlia, determined to find as many nails he could for when the grey man returned.
