For Argul.

The time had come for her to meet her brother at their rendezvous point. The pair had split up shortly after arriving in Nova Scotia, one off to explore one area of the land, the other taking the opposing direction. They planned to meet in a few weeks time, and that time was up. Both she and her brother were survivalists, and when the snowstorm churned beyond the horizon, her instincts told her to take cover. She sought refuge among Crimson Dreams, joining their ranks just days before the blizzard hit. Yet she had done it impulsively, and before joining the pack she murdered one of their young. She upheld the ruse, for now, but she needed Argul to help ensure her safety.

They should have found each other days ago but that meeting was impossible due to the snowstorm. As soon as it was clear, Nuki found the perfect moment to slip away from the pack lands, taking her bow and arrows with her so it could be assumed that she had gone hunting. She would return, and she would probably bring meat with her just to solidify the play. The hellion slipped out of Haven Manor, through the snow entrenched land of Crimson Dreams, and off into the sparse, snow laden woods.

On her trek to the meeting point she took a detour to the cave in which she hid most of her packs and possessions, including the tail she had collected from the carcass of the boy she murdered. They had been safe thus far, even if buried in feet of snow and took ages to dig out, but she needed Argul to take her things, to find a safer place, farther from Crimson Dreams, to hide her deadly weapons and her grisly trophy.

It had taken her hours to arrive at the place she referred to as mid-world, essentially a center point of 'Souls and the same place that she and Argul had split up from. It was harder to recognize with the wreckage from the snowstorm, and the feet of new, loose powder that now blanketed the earth, but she was sure this was it. She peered around, searching for any sign of Argul. A scent, pawprints, a sound... she saw no sign of him yet. Would he come? Had he survived the storm?
