She was not doing much recently. She had done what she told the coyote she would do, she stayed by the border of his pack but that did not mean she was always there. She wondered about most the time, returning to that spot she first met him every time she got the chance to past it. The she wolf sighed as she trotted steadily amongst the trees, heading back toward that little spot.
She had not hunted yet, and wondered quietly to herself if today would be the day that she saw Slade again. She gave herself a small little mental smile and picked up her pace. She came upon the small little clearing, but halted only a few footfalls away. She picked up his scent easily, the gentle wind carrying his scent toward her. She smiled and crept closer, carefully making sure she did not make any sound.
She came upon their meeting place, ears perked in listen. She heard his stomach growl, and then laughed silently to herself as she stood and walked out from the greenery. “I guess someone is hungry.” She stated coming out into the clearing on Slade’s left. She smiled at him, and bowed her head slightly, “Besides hungry, how have you been?”
