Her form drifted along the cave system to her aunt’s abode, fashionably late as always but, she was in good spirits. Even if not being around teddy at all had been nagging at her, it had even threatened to depress her a bit but by now she was already having second thoughts on how she had treated him the last time they talked. But now she had other worries, her mother had something important to tell her and Aunt Nani and while she didn’t want to dwell on anything terrible about to be said, it still hadn’t left her mind. True Demi was more than able to function without her mother and brother now, quite able to be her own woman, but she did care about her mother.
She noted the two before her with a slight nod of respect as she entered, catching a bit of the conversation as she entered. Naniko seemed to be a lot more worried than Demi did, and some part of her wondered if that was wrong, but with a smooth elegance she glided in. Her voice spoke up in greeting them.
“Hello Mom and Aunt Nani.” She joined her aunts side figuring the two of them could do a better job teaming up to get at the bottom of this than splitting up.
“What’s up?” she asked quizzically.
