So sorry for the wait Marie. I hadn't noticed you replied ^^; / Word Count: 506 (5 points)

Songan smiled as he enjoyed his time here and exploring the new areas. He was glad to be outside of AniWaya and it would help him to find the new packs in the area. He wished he had spent some time here around the area on his journey here from the Great Tribe, but family was more important to him, so getting to the tribe was better for him. Not only was he able to meet up with both of his siblings, but he was also able to set up his own home too. Now that he had some projects to do, it was nice to work on them somewhere new and peaceful. He gave a warm smile as he leaned his back on a nearby tree and looked to the bow. It was his current project and wanted to finish it soon. He was sure it would be done within the next couple of days. With the sun shining down on him, he was ready to begin.

The red wolf took one of his bigger brushes and looked through the colors that he had to use. He wasn’t all too sure on what colors to use on the bow, seeing as that was not one of the things he had asked Saxif about when discussing the design. He gave a soft sigh before looking to the bird carving on top. He was sure he would be able to color that without too much trouble. He was going to make it a eagle like the one the golden she wolf spoke of. He remembered looking at the feathers she had picked out that the main colors were shades of brown with some white and golden. He began to paint the bird part white. He always felt it was better to start out with lighter colors and go over them with the darker colors. Once he was done with that, he leaned the bow gently against the tree so that the paint could dry and he could work on getting the other colors ready. He took some of the dark brown he had and mixed it with the white to make a lighter brown. He had some smaller brushes ready to add in the details on the bird. Once the paints were ready, he gently touched the painted part of the bow to make sure that it was dry. It would still need a little more time before it was ready.

Songan paused as his ears moved up. He could have sworn he thought he heard something behind him. His golden gaze moved around, though he didn’t really see anyone or anything there. Perhaps there was someone making their way down towards his location. He stopped leaning on the tree so that he would be able to see better and called out to whoever it might have been that was coming. “Is there someone there?” He waited with his orbs on the borders, watching for someone or listening for someone to call back to him.
