Let the Sun bask onto Me

She began to feel an odd sensation of tranquility spread over her the longer she meditated. The soothing sound of water cascading over the sand began to meld into the sound of birds flapping their wings and calling to one another. The minutes seemed to fly by and the sun basking upon her coat the only thing that seemed to stop her from reaching nirvana. Either way, it was the most peaceful feeling she had ever felt in her life. A large smile formed on her muzzle when she heard the first set of words from Jaden and she opened her eyes fully to glance at him in silent agreement. Her smile soon changed to a grin as her head bowed and turned away lightly in a shy manner. "..not that I can recall...thank you.." Her voice was soft a almost a whisper really. It was hard for her to take compliments as she didn't get them often in her life. Usually because she avoided them, but they were still nice to receive. Her thoughts were none existent for a moment before she thought of her mate who she was beginning to miss. Her mind tried to remember the last compliment she had received from him and wondered if he had ever said anything about her eyes.

It was useless, she couldn't recall a single compliment but she knew he'd given her at least one, maybe two of them. Still, her mind willed itself back to the semi-stranger next to her. "..are you a fighter of some sort? You have quite a few scars.." It was sort of exciting to her to meet a fighter as she always thought of them as strong brutes who were possessive and feisty. She didn't know why she liked it but really it was harmless, not like she'd ever act on such likings. Adonia was not fiercely loyal, but she was a loyal female though she thought about harmless flirting and the mere thought made her heart pick up a little. Her eyes parted from the scars she looked at to make eye contact for a second taking in again how blue his eyes were. It wasn't often one saw those shades of blue. Her eyes soon parted fully from the male as the sound of fighting birds caught her attention. Light laughter came from her as she saw two seagulls going at it, it was hard to tell why at first until she saw a claw wavering between the two. A third came to join in the battle over the crab and Adonia was quite amused by it.
