Since bringing home the little ball of fluff, Axelle was already starting to regret it. She didn’t really like kids, and well even if she wanted her own in the future at least they wouldn’t be cats. Frex, the young tabby kitten she took home from Halifax, was giving her guff about finding his mother. Though, little did he know, Axelle knew she was dead and didn’t want to break the little cat’s heart. Then she would have to hear more about it, and then she would have to eat him. Yes, eat him.
As for right now, the little kitten was keeping himself busy while Axelle attempted to childproof her den. Frex continued to flounce around on Axelle’s makeshift bed, leaving minor destruction wherever he went. Little claws tearing into the furs, and making fun for himself.
Once Axelle had put all the breakable things up and away from her young roommate, she took one of the furs off of her bed and folded it into a nice bed for the little guy. The kitten immediately, without a word, went over to it and began kneading the soft skins with his claws. Then before long, plopped down and began his snooze. Axelle tip toed over to her table, and plopped down on one of the stone chains, and rested her head on the table. She was relieved to have the little monster lying down, finally. ”Good night, Frex…” she mumbled as she rested her head on her arms, on the table. Lifting her head up tiredly, she looked over to him to check that her mumbling didn’t wake him up. It didn’t; he was snoozing soundly, all curled up in his tight, kitty ball. She could hear the kitten’s purring from all the way across the room. Having him here only a few days made her exhausted already.
