She nodded, and watched as he rose and took his leave. The fire cracked, breaking the silence that she was left in. It had been ignored while the old and young had spoken. Anu wondered what would happen, and yet she felt as if she already knew what would come to light. Blue eyes looked into the flames, watching them dance. Then, they slowly closed. Blue disappeared behind light gray and white lids, her sight becoming dark and lost until pictures played before her minds eye.
Loves she missed, loves taken from her and she could almost feel the scars they had left. The wolfess leaned heavier into the seat, her chin dipping slightly as her memories became dreams and the silence made her slowly fade into a light yet restful sleep.
