WORD COUNT → 180

The tiny red-hued luperci turned her head towards him and he smiled, nodding an unspoken hello. They were deep in the Inferni territory, and this place was most certainly a fortress. No wonder she spoke of its safety. Just another reason why he should claim a room as his, he thought. Tedros stretched, arching his back and lifting his shoulders, pausing a second before introducing himself. “I’m Tedros Talik.”

His name hung in the air for a moment. There was this odd silence between the two of them, but it wasn’t that awkward. Not for him, at least. Ted was still marveling in the beauty of this place. While he had been away, he had stayed in a small, broken down house. To go from that to this place was like coming into royalty. Sure, it had many great memories, and he grew to love it as his home, but this mansion was awesome.

“Do you live inside?” God, he hoped she did. Maybe he could convince her to give him a tour, or help him find his own area.
