Terra was frustrated. For the past while she'd been looking for something to eat. Several prey had been stirred up, but her skill was too poor to allow her to catch any. She hadn't even had the luck of coming across a decent corpse to feed from. Terra wasn't particular about what she ate. If anything she cared that it was preferably dead when she started eating it to prevent being injured. A few times Terra had started eating before it was properly dead, and had gotten a couple good scratches for her efforts. Since then she made sure it was dead, then dug in.
Her head shot up at the smell of another canine. Grinning to herself Terra folded back into the shadows around her. She wasn't the best in stealth, but she was good enough that those untrained wouldn't notice her. Terra watched the young male wander through, curious as to who he was. His coat was reddish like hers, but he stood in optime. Terra considered shifting to greet him before a growling stomach reminded her that wasn't an option. No food, no shifting. At least not without a lot of pain. Since she didn't have any particular qualms about addressing people who were in a different form than her Terra discarded the idea.
While the wolf moved soundlessly through the grass Terra started a game on her own. Silently she shadowed him, making not a single sound. She wondered how long she could keep this up for, doubting it would last very long. It was amusing though, so she padded after him, silent as the world around them.
