Terra wagged her tail happily. Learning in lupus form would be useful, since it was the one she used the most. Compliantly she changed back, taking a moment to shift. On the ground Terra shook her head, getting quickly oriented. Bowing down playfully Terra looked up at her teacher. He looked a lot more handsome in this form, though the exact reasoning for that was hard to place. Ready. Eager for the hunt Terra grinned, showing off her sharp teeth. They hadn't been worn down with age yet, leaving them with a cutting edge.
Sniffing the air Terra checked for prey in the area. There were rabbits from the warren, a few feet ahead of her. A pig meandered noisily through the trees to her right, and mice ran through the grass. Mice wouldn't make much of a meal, but they were good for practicing on. Terra had never caught one, but had spent hours learning how they remained hidden and mimicking it on a larger scale.
