Terra nodded her head at Frodo's explanation. It seemed pretty straightforward, just like a deer hunt. Having never taken on a hog before it seemed logical that they would approach it that way. The idea of cutting off the hog instead of just ambushing it was the one thing that was different. Willing to do anything new Terra waited while Frodo rushed into position. She giggled at his silly words, so mocking in the position they were in.
As the male said go Terra shot off. The hog watched her grow closer, not panicking the way she'd expected. A rabbit or a deer would have fled by now, but this creature stood it's ground. Terra hesitated, formulating a new plan. She'd have to really scare it to drive it towards the wolf. Growling Terra bit into the hog's leg. Squealing it tossed it's head, tusk scraping across her skin. Leaping clear Terra growled, waiting for it to run.
Again the creature didn't act like she'd thought. Instead of backing away the hog charged her. Deftly she stepped to the side, allowing it to ram into a tree. Lifting her head she looked around for Frodo. This wasn't happening like she'd thought it would. What was she supposed to do? The pig backed up, and ran for her again. Ducking to the side Terra slashed her teeth into it's side, tearing through the tough skin. It was only a shallow wound though, causing barely a trickle of blood.
