For Axelle. First post blah
Heading home was easier than coming up. For one thing, Terra actually knew where she was going. The last time Terra hadn't known the name of the pack, simply looking for the place where secrets where kept. Terra could move a lot faster when she knew where her destination was. It still took a while though. Terra had spent yesterday roaming the mountains, careful to keep the skulls just out of sight. Teasing Inferni was fun, but two pack run ins in a row would be tough.
She'd come down from the mountains now. Having hit a beach she decided it'd be as good a time as any to eat. Terra hadn't eaten much of anything while traveling. There had been a quick snack on her way to Salsola, but after that she hadn't eaten. Terra wanted to be able to shift if she needed it. Shifting on an empty stomach hurt though, so she was looking for a decent meal.
Concentrating Terra crept through the snow. There was a fat rabbit ahead, perfect for what she needed. She reviewed what she'd learned briefly, praying that it would work. With a leap Terra hit the rabbit, crunching into it's neck. She'd taken it by surprise, leaving it without a chance to panic. Pleased Terra began digging in, watching for anyone who would try and sneak up on her.
