The Dangers of Running Too Fast

Axelle stopped dancing as soon as she saw the other sit down. She put her weapon away, too, an anklet around her ankle that housed her dagger, and sat down across from her with one leg bent to her chest and the other Indian style. ”Nice to meet’cha Terra.” She dipped her head in respect for the smaller femme. ”Your knife skills aren’t that bad.” It was a good compliment coming from a Warrior in Anathema.

Axelle watched Terra check out her wound. She didn’t bring her bag with her this time, or else she would’ve had something in there to wrap it with. She wasn’t a medic or anything, but she did always go places prepared – except for today. The cut on her stomach began to dry up as it was pretty shallow, and she hadn’t acquired anything else that serious. Axelle was pretty proud of herself; she came out of her first fight with ‘kitchen knives’ without any serious injuries. And to think she was so nervous about their whole duel.

”Are you alright?” She asked after a few minutes of silence, and she looked up at Terra. Axelle was now holding herself up with one arm behind her, while the other rested on top of the bent knee. It was a rather relaxed looking position; her guard wasn’t up at all, knowing that she would be able to defend herself indefinitely if Terra were to pull a fast one. However, it was unlikely with the degree of her wounds. Axelle wasn’t worried at all.

She reached over to the side and grabbed her belt and Katana and dragged it over, closer to where she was sitting. That’s when she noticed the rabbit, which she didn’t quite want anymore. ”You can keep the rabbit, dear. I’m not exactly hungry anymore.” She was kind with it, and tried her hardest not to sound skank because that’s how she felt while looking at the half eaten thing. Its insides spilling out into the grass, making a bloody little lake, without a hungry wolf to lap them up. The sight of the whole thing actually made her a little nauseous.

The sight was getting extra revolting the more she stared at the little carcass. She stood up in her spot, and clipped her belt back around her waist. She waited around to make sure the other was alright before she would depart. There was a few things that needed to be done... like feeding her roomie- Frex, the cat. He's probably pissed that I didn't leave him anything out...
