It had been long enough since Amy had stopped by this pack that she felt safe approaching it. Her scent had altered a little, mixed with Hadley and the places she'd been. Some still remained the same, but Amy felt sure the weakling she'd beaten for trying to cheat her wouldn't report what Amy had done. Even if her scent had clung to the girl, no explanation would have been given for the reason. Giddily she licked her lips. Punishing the girl had been quite enjoyable. It wasn't often she let her inner beast out to play.
Standing at the borders Amy howled, a short booming call that bounced off the mountains. It was regal, demanding others to acknowledge her presence. Amy was no weakling to cower or submit to others. Amy was a queen in her own right, controlling the flow of trade. At least, that was her goal. She was still working on finding the weak points in the pack and building up the debts people held for her. Eventually they would have to answer to her, and with each trade, each exchange, that day grew closer. She sat down, calmly waiting for a response.
