OOC: WC: 641 eee :3 <33 She hasn't seen Salvia yet.

There was one idea that really frightened the girl: what if things didn’t work out between her and Tawny? She had no desire to go back to Ichika, but what could she do without her? She had been attacked numerous times outside of Ichika no Ho-en’s borders and had nearly been attacked once more when she’d ventured into Halifax alone…it would just keep happening again and again if she didn’t stay around the darker female. Wretch was nothing alone. She was determined to keep the other female around for that purpose only, if need be. She’d give Tawny whatever she wanted in return for the protection that she could offer. Wretch was really liking this free life…being able to go wherever she wanted, whenever she wanted. Especially after her very sheltered puppyhood…She didn’t want her adventuring days to end prematurely.

She liked being able to wander a bit. Wretch had never left Ichika in her youth; she had been injured and alone for most of her puppyhood. Her first injuries had taken a very long time to heal and the bone had set incorrectly, which had given her what would have become a permanent limp. Luckily, though, the second attack had fixed that problem for her. The weak bone had snapped in the same spot again and this time Saul had gotten to her soon enough to set it correctly. By that time the male had a lot more experience with medicine as well, which had helped him set it better.

Wretch appreciated everything that Saul had done for her while he had been there. She’d taken off after the most recent attack out of fear and confusion…and had come back to find him gone. She should have known not to expect him to stick around after she had left, but she’d hoped to come home and at least say her goodbyes to the canine that had raised her for the better part of her life. Instead, she’d gathered up a few more of her belongings and had headed back out. She still went into Ichika on occasion and the smell would likely still cling faintly to her pelt…but she didn’t necessarily live there much any longer.
There was something about this dead, sepia backdrop that had called to her as she’d traveled along without her dark friend. She had parted ways with the girl so that she could find her a nice gift, but hadn’t settled on any real direction when she had started walking. These lands were simply beautiful to her eyes, though, despite their lack of greenery. For days, she would sit in front of the window in her room, staring out at the green park…but she had not seen such beauty until now, when she was actually able to experience it.

She gave one last sweeping glance over the landscape before turning back to the task at hand, opening up the door. As she wrapped her fingers around the handle and tugged on it, the thing began to strain and creak. It then snapped off completely with a loud cracking sound, leaving her with half of the complete handle in her hands. She had a puzzled expression on her muzzle when a sharp voice came from the side of her. Oceanic eyes turned toward a sight that startled her more than anything else could. A canine stood in the grasses around the house, staring up at her. Something about the other seemed familiar to her…the shape of her face? The color of those eyes? She had a look about her that was not completely wolf, but something more. Mixed, much the same as Wretch. The stranger knew her name, something that puzzled her, and she replied quietly with a question of her own. Yes…But who are you?
