Somehow, the white girl had learned her name. Salvia bared her teeth and growled at the words of praise, furious that she might be thanked for such a thing. She had done her a favor? Oh if that was the case she could do so again; though she readied herself to speak a hand brushed against her shoulder. Four-legged at she was, Salvia stilled and remained at her mother’s side. She listened to the story; something about water, caves, some other pack. It sounded like rubbish; how could she not recall them? How could she simply forget the early months of life? Salvia remembered everything—she remembered Misery’s white face and mad eyes, and she remembered Naniko and her children, and she remembered the way her father had torn apart Harlowe when they were attacked.

Green eyes blazed, but she remained by Eris’ side. While there was no doubt that her loyalty was to Sirius alone, she would not allow harm to come to her mother (Auxiliary or no). The pale wolf leaned against the thick leg at her side, but it was a slight motion, one that hardly put weight on it. Every muscle in her body was taunt, ready to attack; she wanted to cast out this pale ghost of the past. This upset her natural order, and it was something she had no desire to see done. The tigress said nothing, but the low rumble in her chest remained a constant, rolling thing.
